How do i test a single player HL2 map?

For Half-Life 2, you need to use the info_player_start entity (to spawn) and then you just just place the map into the hl2>maps folder and run the game, you can use the console typing map mapname or select create server and select your map.... [more]

Haven't seen anything about this or heard of it, best bet is to post in the Valve or VERC forums, since the actual Steam forums is full of very little mappers and very many know-it-alls. My advice? Don't use the clipper unless you have to!... [more]
