STRIKE !Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 General GamingGive me a break.
Please in the future inject a little more sophistication into the
justifications for your opinions. That might give your arguments more

STRIKE !Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 General Gaminglol
Think about the obvious!?! No kidding buddy, but it doesn't explain why a
company would choose to not do a tiny amount of PR. Even EA are trying to
keep their players informed about developments in BF2, why not IW and the
publisher ACTV?

STRIKE !Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 General GamingGame or not, if I spend money I expect quality. If I am not getting it I
demand some accountability from the company that made whatever it is that I
purchased. If that doesn't work then I simpily never buy from them again.

texture smudges out / portals suck!Call of Duty : CoD Level DesignTook a look at the map file.
Your problem is that when you did your clipping to shape the hangar you
didn't clip adjacent brushes so that they were cliped at the same angle.
This results in brushes not touching each other and sealing the cell, thus
you... [ more] |

texture smudges out / portals suck!Call of Duty : CoD Level DesignIf you can post a screen shot or two of your hangar, we may see the problem
better.
Although it mat be a little tricky virtually any building should be able to
be portalled. One exception is sometimes it isn't really worth trying to
portal an almost co... [ more] |

texture smudges out / portals suck!Call of Duty : CoD Level DesignAlso make sure the brushes you used to make the hanger are not detail, they
must be structural for the cell to be closed by a portal.
If they are then take a very close look at the seams b/c you have a gap
somewhere.

You can make the skybox non-colliding just add:

Changing sky textureCall of Duty : CoDUO Level DesignIn addition to the above,

ground.
