searched this but no answer-decal brushesCall of Duty 4 : CoD 4 Level Designhi, i've made maps using the old codtools(1 and UO) but when i look at the
map files from cod 4 i noticed that almost all of the chalk brushes have
"decal" brushes under them, why ? what does this do ?

wireframe" done this with radaint once by pure accident and left me
confused for a while

Backdrops....Call of Duty 4 : CoD 4 Level Designsky textures = textures/usage/sky ( you can't see them in the texture
preview but you can in the 3d preview )
buildings and such are in the xmodel folder right click on 3d screen
go to misc/model/ then raw folder/xmodel

bad spawns - UO - Sniper ( mirrored ) mapsCall of Duty : CoDUO Level Designbut then do you not need an actual "objective" within the map.
i originally thought it was only crossover maps IE maps made with radaint
running in cod UO server but ive seen the same issue with UO specific

worked with radiant, seems with UO / gradaint it dosnt and teams spawn on
either side which defeats the purpose...as in sniping when the person is on

is it due to maps being made in radiant as opposed to gradiant .... as UO
made maps sometimes do the same.

map seems to be almost black in shadows and barrels appear to have no
textures, just black shapes, i am using a skybox texture with correct WS

especially in my prefabs, not all the time, all angles are perfect with no
brush overlaps but these strange stretched textures appear across certain

work fine... i can view them and there are no special textures, scripts or

in console i got an error regarded scripting and realised there would be no
