Mappers Read This!Soldier of Fortune : SoFII Editing, Gaming, and DesignI do think it's kinda funny that you (brutus) talk about unique naming
conventions for images, yet you named your map "house.bsp". *grin*
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but if you use a custom pk3 file,
nothing in it can be used on a server that... [ more] |

A long rant, comments, ideas, discussions?Soldier of Fortune : SoFII Editing, Gaming, and DesignOne small point -
brutus, I was the one that said you originally weren't supposed to be able
to get through that window on shop, because that's what I was told by the
map's designer. In the beta builds, that window wasn't even there.
Apox didn't admit ... [ more] |

plantsSoldier of Fortune : SoFII Editing, Gaming, and DesignI don't think you use "high grass".
Go to one of the colombia levels.
Looks straight down. You should see a green ground texture. That's the
texture you want to use as your ground. If you use that shader, the game
will automatically put the vertical ... [ more] |

Main Level BoxSoldier of Fortune : SoFII Editing, Gaming, and DesignVery few professional levels are built in a giant box. (More now that
before, but still not many.)

bigger rooms.
