anyways. I am making a mod (as a lot of peole know) and i would like to know how to insert CUSTOM models into CoD2. Is it as simple as taking the completed files and putting it in with the other models? im guessing i will need the map editor...crap....or is there more to it? from my milkshape 1.7.5 do i need to compile it as a certian thing or export it as somthing specific?

if somone already asked this sry, i did a search and only found insterting stock models in CoD.

it is relatively easy to import your ustom models into the game..

create your model in the editor of your choice..then export it to the cod file type

use the asset manager located in the tools folder to turn your model into an xmodel

there is information on this in the tellermine tutorial...i think it is Here

you can also get the plugins for import/export here (scorpios website has been invalid for quite some time) - they are just the dll files that you will need to put in your plugins directory for milkshape
