unfortunately, something bad has happened here.. people should always be aware of how easily it is to offend when you take your words out of context, or even just slightly out of perspective. i try my darndest to keep what i say, and write in a context that doesn't offend anyone, and yet sometimes it has the exact opposite result. what is constructive criticism in the writers eye can quickly turn into being offended by the reader if taken out of context or read in the wrong frame of mind. as said - unfortunately, a mapper who has put his time and effort into a project has been let down by the community - perhaps not as a whole - but by the few who voiced their opinions without fully contemplating the potential end results of their actions. on a side note, and more directed towards skulltapper, any criticism or comments that you recieve on this site tend to be....sided. the two things that i have learned from this site...and mapping in general is that you can NEVER please everyone - someone will always dislike your work for whatever reason, and say you should have, or could have done better... the other thing is patience...(radiant taught me that)...lots and lots of patience...it will all work out in the end

How a discussion about mapping can turn into pseudo-historical insults against a whole country people ? Has it something to do with the topic ? I'm French and I respect you and your skills to create new and nice maps that I sometime put on my server, mappers... ...But: 1) I feel offended by the writings of you, Steelrain, as an History expert (?) who forget quickly that without the help of France, you so "inspiring" Revolution (indeed IMHO French Revolution was more inspired by English Revolution, with its parliament and cut King ) would be a total failure (go back to your books or just take a look to the DVD Bonuses of the US movie "Patriot" !), 2) I'm sure that will certainly surprise you, Harryball, but on the contrary of what you write, at this moment , a lot of (non US) people across the world are very happy to live in their own country...Even if this country is not an earthly paradise as your ! Regards. 0ddball. PS: This reply has nothing to do with mapping so I hope that a moderator will delete it with the others of the same kind... PS2: Sorry if my English is too rough, I'll happily read your reply in French ...

Shame the map is pulled it looks quite exciting, lots of area to move around...flow appears to compliment the gamestyles.

First off: Stryder, I apologize for what's happened here to you and the other moderators and Foyleman with the drawn out nationality discussion. In defense of Harry and Steelrain , they were only coming to my aide as a clanmate they felt was being wronged. I'm sure they meant no harm to this site. Moving on though, Wolf, thx for the compliment and I've decided to release Kustov Station Beta here after all as I don't think it appropiate to punish myself or any others who may enjoy my maps because of a few discourteous individuals. So....in a new thread I will announce the release. Thx for everything everyone and I can and will accept all criticisms, just plz keep them constructive. Peace, {GBI}Skull Krusher
