Hey. I was thinking about some of the members on this site, and how they got here.

So if you want, leave a message saying how you found MODSonline. Here is mine.

I had read about a mod for my clan server that would allow me to ground players and blow them up if they broke the rules. So I checked out some websites via Google but I couldn't find it. One of the sites that I had'nt checked out was MODSonline.com. So, I got registered and downloaded the mod. Though thinking about it, I didn;t really get active in the community until about 2 or 4 months after that and actually started posting in the forums.

I found it through a mate, id never heard of mapping before and i wondered how i could make my own map, my friend said why not go to Modsonline.com register and download the tools and have a look at the tutorials.Wasnt really looking at forums.Then i started posting a few months later and started to get into the Modsonline Community

First time i visited this site was by typing: 'cod mapping tutorials' in the searchbar of google and hitting the 'I feel lucky button' Never tought my first hit would be jackpot

well a long time ago when i was in my first clan ever. i wanted to make some custom maps for my clan, well me and a friend in that clan started searching for how, then another member told us to look up Gradient so we did, but we kept finding this site and was told it was useless and they never send you a reply email and its no help anyways. well it was pretty much my only help so me and my friend bet the other person who said we would never get a reply 20 bucks that we would, well, he has become inactive, even on PC games :( and i am here and it is completly opposite to what the person told me. (also, me and my friend spent so much time mapping we were considered MIA. lol) also, i never got 20 bucks... i was inactive for about 2 months after that or more then active then inactive and now i have been active for about 5 months or so. edited on Jul. 17, 2006 03:41 pm by MasterChief

Using the Google search i typed in "CoD Mapping Tutorials" and found a few sites, mainly personal sites where people had added small tutorials, then I was clicking around from site to site and somehow ended up here... the rest is history.

One night I was playing CoD:UO and I was looking houses from every map and I thought that it would be cool to learn how to make maps. So I visited google and typed Cod Mapping in google and first site google gave me was MODSonline.com. Then I registered in here and downloaded the tools for CoD. After that I downloaded almost every video tutorial which was available and started watching them... That's how I found MODSonline.com and I have had very good time in here and I would like to thank every member who has helped me

google did it for me but because i was to lazy to register i was like wth is this modsonline thing doing at evry page of google !! and well after i while i just registered because i was bored of looking on google and ignoring modsonline
