You still need this SDK for modding SP (not the 1.02 SDK).

when i started mapping for sof2 i did try all the editors, (gtk and sdk). with sdk i had a lot of trouble installing it, and because the gtk's are automaticly installed correct for sp mapping i decided to work on gtk. after 1.2.13 and 1.3.7dev,1.3.8 i know use 1.3.11.

still, a few things give me trouble, for instance the making of slidingdoors. it's impossible to give them a direction to slide in. i did gave the message to the gtk guys and they will look at it in a new development of it, (maybe).

how is it with slidingdoors in the sdk editor, can he make them in sp-mode? and are there more resons that you say for using the sdk?

how about just useing both, use GTK for mapping if u like it, and then put it into sdk and do all the scripts, and movements of objects...

should work.
