Has anyone been able to figure this one out?
I'm trying to get a portion of of a wall/vent to break apart once hit and as of yet the closest thing I get is func_glass.
Do I have to create my own fx for this?

Used to be able to used func_breakable.. or even func_wall with a trigger to a chunk_spewer.
This new sof.... hmmmm...
I don't see any other way than an effect or something like that. Breakable glass shader .. edit it to create something more suitable?

A func_wall, when targeted, will disappear.
The demolition levels use a separate effect to simulate them breaking apart.
Check my gametypes list entry for Demolition:

It might be possible to simply give it a "dmg" or "health" key, but if that doesn't work there still might be an alternative -
Cover it with a trigger_shootable or target_shootable or something, and have it target the func_wall and an effect.
