A friend of mine told me that there is a new episode of MOH called 'Airborne' is being released soon. Has anyone got any info on this? I quite liked the game as a single player game. but didn't really like it in multiplayer..

Anyone else fork out for MOHA?

For a game that only has 6 levels and 8 hrs of gameplay on expert. It was disappoiningly short. I enjoyed the game just found it too short! I wish I had borrowed it from someone. Maybe I should trade it for Stalker. Its got more than 6 levels/areas/missions!!!

Even the first level that was in the demo was toned down. In the demo on expert there were way more enemy.

The demo gave the impression that we would be provided with a wonderful SP experience. It was an experience alright. Just not what they lead us to believe.

The later level felt more like I was fighting mutant supersoldiers with superpowers!

The last level. Third level down with all the AA guns. About 10 times I worked myway around to the last AA. While hiding behind the wall/sandbags. AI players are standing out in the open (hardly dying). I quikly peek around the corner for a split second [machine_gun] The bastard super mutant german soldier with MG42 kills me (this happened so many times it started to pee-pee me off) Terrible enemy AI.

LOOK - Theres two AI players standing in perfect view - SHOOT THEM!!! [banghead]

These MG42 soldiers. If you try to attack them from the side [machine_gun] your dead and they don't even turn the MG towards you!!!

This aspect of the game in the last level made it frustrating.

Enemy AI spawning wasn't the flashest. Had enemy AI spawning right in front of me multiple times. On one occasion I must have gone past a trigger but the trigger to stop wasn't anywhere where I was staning. They just kept coming and coming like a 80s arcade shootemup!!!

Only thing now is to wait for the editor and see what that is like.

In all honesty. I should have just waited for COD4.

MOHPA had its flaws. At least it didn't finish in a mater of hours.

I was reading a review in pc format today about this game. They said they had trouble killing the end level Germans
It also said that they are super accurate even over huge distances. They also kept getting killed if they got into a melee fight with the AI

They probably just suck at playing.
You can easily kill AI with one hit melee by running and meleeing them. If you're just going to walk up to them and melee them, then yeah, you're just asking to be killed.

In the last level. There are some sewers you have to escape from. There is a small confined spaced where about 5 or 6 of these super troopers attack you.

How I got around them, I just waited by the corner till they walked around and emptied a clip into them point blank till they died then reloaded just in time for the second, third, fourth etc. If it was done any other way you simply died.

Hah, yeah, I remember that, I got so annoyed/frustrated there after trying a good 25 times that I just turned off the game and walked from it for a few days and came back to finish off that section/game.

It would have been a lot easier to have some allies there. I noticed in MoH:A you're usually by yourself on the hard @$$ parts, like when you're trying to get across the Neijimen bridge... oh man, that took me 2 hours straight just to pass on Casual one night.

Did you experience distortion of dead player models?

I had one guy, as he was running, it looked like his foot got stuck in a hole and scretched out like a giant rubber band (after being shot of course).

A enemys hand got caught on a barrel and distorted and stretched as the bodys momentum continued after being shot.

One of the supertroopers died and slumped over a barrel but the neck was all distorted like a Tumor!!!

Did you notice how healthy your characters your lung capacity was???The fact you could hold your breath for an extremelly long period of time (like FOREVER) till you fire when scoped was INCREDIBLE!!!

I don't know what it was like graphically on you system but I had blinking/flashing textures EVERYWHERE! I was disapointed in the fact they hadn't taken the time to tidy there textures. They were actually quite distracting.

I got it on the 360. [cool]

I had some of the problems you had though when I played the PC demo, like the distorting of player models. Haven't noticed any problems on the 360, except for enemy AI spawning right in front of me but that's probably just bad game design by EA.
