make sure (as the many tutorials on this site tell you) that you have created your .gsc in a text only format (not MSWord but WORD or TEXT DOCUMENT format (right click --> new --> text document)) start your map in developer 1 (bring down the console and type developer 1) then map yourmapname other than that - copy and paste your gsc

Can someone explain what do I need to create a map? I build up a map, and I put the mp/tdm_spawn twice. Then I build up the arena file and gsc file. Oh and the loadscreen. Is anything more to add?

Hey again. I finished my map and make all good (except the loadscreen whic I cant make it without photoshop which needs SP2) but I cannot compile my map. In console it is written: d3dx9.dll is missing.
