I have a map that i have made and the rain is coming into some but not all the buildings, any ideas what is wrong please

make sure that the rains "Z" spawn is higher than your buildings roof. please tell me if you need help if you can't get it to work or you don't understand.

Don't mess with the efx, just raise the z that the rain spawns. In you rain file that contains

in your /maps/mp/ directory somewhere (I think) i don't map for cod2 anymore. But change the -250 value to where you want the rain to spawn on the map, go to the Z view on the editor with shift+tab I think and move your mouse up and down and look at the Z number at the bottom of the editor, when you get the the top of your building (the roof) take that number and add 50 to it and make it your Z value like this if it was say, -100, so you add 50 which = -50. so you would change it to this.

Raise the number 100, that should fix your problem.

I have played about with this value going from small amounts to huge amounts but still dont work, just for the hell of it set it to 1800 and still no joy lol
