I have made a map entirely out of prefabs (is that a problem?), I have compiled it, made the .gsc file

maps\mp\_load::main();
}
and I receive this error when I try to test it.

Error during initialization:
script runtime error
(see console for details)
(file 'maps/mp/mp_mapname.gsc', line 1)

And yes, I have removed all my modded maps.

I need help. Thank you if you can help.[biggrin]

Only difference is the first parenthesis in not on the same line
as "main()"

Is your .map file name and .gsc name the same?
Are your file extensions are hidden?

The script runtime error is just telling you that the script isn't starting at some point. Plus it tells you exatcly what line it isn't working in.

O[banghead] I tried what you said, putting the { down a line, and it still didn't work. The same error came up.

Did you make your .gsc file in Notepad or another text edit program, like Wordpad or even word?

If not in notepad, open your .gsc file in notepad and delete all the stuff before the actual main() line, because notepad is a .txt file editor, most others actually store info like font stuff before the first line, which you can't see in those programs.

The .gsc file you send me is correct, no errors in there..

One thing I noticed is this:

The ,gsc file you send me is called mp_modeltest.gsc, your error speaks of mp_mapname.gsc..

What is the name of your map?
