Does someone know how to place a machinegun (MG42 like). You can do: misc>turret. But what are the values? And does someone know how to place sandbags? Thanks in advance [drink]

Probably the same ones as for CoD2 and CoD(UO)? Try those..

As for the sandbags.. they're models. How to place models.

I've done this:

Misc>turret. Brougt up the entitypanel with 'n' and filled this in:

key: model
value: xmodel/weapon_saw

key:weaponinfo
value:saw_bipod_prone_mp

When I run the map and prone before the MG it says: press F to use. But when I press F I get his error: G_GetPlayerViewOrigin: Couldn't find [tag_player] on turret

anyone has got an idea?

Ok.. I looked around a bit.. there is a prefab for the saw....

prefabs/cover_prone_saw.map

tried the_caretakers and it said there was a G_error and this usually mjeans the turret is incorrect of somit

Daezberry has it right but for the "spawnflags" entry. That needs to be "0". In the Entity box above the entries you will see that a value of "1" means that it already exists. Uncheck the box and it should revert to zero. Save and compile and it will work. Also: Additional entries are rightarc, leftarc, and toparc expressed in degrees. Hope this helps. Alt
