it HAS cmmas into it, I just copied that thing from openoffice calc and it didn't show the commas. I got commas. look here (now from "update zonefile"): ignore,code_post_gfx_mp ignore,common_mp ignore,localized_code_post_gfx_mp ignore,localized_common_mp col_map_mp,maps/mp/mp_island2.d3dbsp rawfile,maps/mp/mp_island2.gsc impactfx,mp_island2 sound,common,mp_island2,!all_mp sound,generic,mp_island2,!all_mp sound,voiceovers,mp_island2,!all_mp sound,multiplayer,mp_island2,!all_mp I got the map running, but when i change something on it, it won't work????

about gsc files: Creating a Simple .gsc File (CoD2 Tutorial section) look at the cod4 raw\maps\mp folder and check out the gsc scripts.

now the file missing lol is mp_shipyard_beta_SD_fx.gsc is there a tut on that?

well ya do what the guy said with missingasset.csv THEN restart your comp cuz i did that didnt work for me i like wtf? i restarted comp then i looked in main and theres the file.... so try that

For everyone getting 'mp_yourmap.csv.txt' and 'mp_yourmap.gsc.txt' that wont rename or create the proper fast files or load the missingasset.csv... I found that renaming files in Windows doesn't work properly when creating your own files. It doesn't change the physical extension unless you go to the command prompt and do it. (In my case) 1. Create the files on your desktop. (ex. mp_yourmap.txt) 2. Click on your start button and type cmd in the 'run' box (xp) or type cmd in the search (vista). 3. In the command prompt navigate to your file. (this case your desktop) 3. In the C:\users\yourusername\desktop\ Type: ren mp_yourmap.txt mp_yourmap.gsc If you already have the files created with the proper coding just simply rename those without creating new ones. I've been having the same problems as everyone else in here and now everything works fine. :) Hope this helps. edited on Oct. 31, 2008 05:46 am by Bennion
