Hey guys. Question: My map wont load. when i compile reflections is goes to the map but before and can check it for reflections it exits out, what am i doing wrong?

Also When i go to Run selected map after compile the .ff it loads mine but then switches to backlot, (im frustrated at this point XP) What can i do to fix it?

right

1) save your map in map_source
2) run BSP
3) run reflections
4) run fast file
5) update zone file and in the window copy the files on left side and pasrte onto the right
6) run fast file again
7) run selected map

Yes please expand on this, I am stuck here also, I went over the tutorials 500000 times and when I run selected map from compile tools it switches to backlot. I also uploaded it to our server and the same thing happens there as well. We are all definately missing something or a file configuration that needs to be done that was never posted.

I have the same error as well.... Global intermission? How do you switch that on?

to add global intermission
you right click the grid, and go mp-> global intermission

this entity is the spectators starting spot, and the view you get upon loading the map, and what every1 sees when the map is over and shows stats.

its nice to point it at a cool spot of your map, or overlooking a large area.

to point it somewhere press N and click one of the angles.
that are in the square on the left side


IM also STUCK at reflections!! , it wont work
it runs, opens cod4, pops up error

so im stuck with red x(

added global intermission..... still wont work. Loads my map up then immediately loads up backlot! This is seriously frustraiting :(

im also stuck with this problem. i added my global_intermision ting so this defo isnt the problem. Does anyone else have a fix?

not 100% sure if i know what the fix is, but i have got mine to work now.

The only things i changed were.

- Added x2 TDM Spawn points (as before i had only x1 TMD axis and x1 TMD allies spawn points)

- In my Update Zone file made sure that ALL items to the left are on the right (as previously had left 1 i thought was a duplicate)

-Re complied and ran through al steps 1 to 5 again.
