Hi ho... Ok.. created a simple map.. (i'm still struggling with this editor)... Made TDM spawns, spawns for the players.. intermission, reflection probes created a gsc file with the basic info.. main() { maps\mp\_load::main(); ambientPlay("ambient_crash"); game["allies"] = "marines"; game["axis"] = "opfor"; game["attackers"] = "allies"; game["defenders"] = "axis"; game["allies_soldiertype"] = "desert"; game["axis_soldiertype"] = "desert"; setdvar( "r_specularcolorscale", "1" ); setdvar("compassmaxrange","1600"); } now.. when i load the game i have this huge red swath of color in the middle of my screen. and my gun is up and to the right of the top of the screen. I see things in my map in the corners of the screen. Like a huge red line in the middle.. What did i do wrong? Thanks.

What ever you did I did as well.... The Red Thing you refer too is the letters "FX"... Mine is showing on my Axis team... and on my allie team I can see everything fine. Accept when I die then I can see "FX" again.. I think there are some unsuporrted files or somthing...

By the way im having the same problem with the swath coming up on Axis side only. Start as allies and no problem. Looked at my .gsc and couldnt ID the problem.

Just put your maps name in where it says YOURMAP and that will do. If you see things from this code that match some things you already have in it, just delete the stuff you have in it. This Code goes on the right side. And this will fix the "Red Man".
