what is this and how do I fix it I have no clue this cod4 tool makes me feel like a noob. it says this when I try and build fast file also
says: ERROR LoadMap. Lump 4 extends past end of file

Does running your map regularly to play work fine?
If so, I'd check how you have your reflection probes layed out. Perhaps you have one too many in a single room, or have them near each other indoors without celling off the area with portals or walls. You might even have one outside the skybox.

You could try the destructible cars fix: cut your .gsc from maps\mp, compile reflections, then put the .gsc back?

i had a problem had to open map with notebook
and look at the bottom and found bad enitys
deleated them and it worked

light enitys lamp_on

So the two of you are getting the same error but at different parts? I.e. Hogan is getting the error message during compile reflections, and Adamski you are getting the exact same error word for word during the end of your ff build?

The end of the ff build is your loadfile build... the error says something about LOADmap, maybe that has something to do with it? Incorrect _load.csv in zone_english? If you haven't made a loadscreen yet, make sure there is no mp_yourmapname.csv in your maps\ folder?

I'm guessing it's something to do with files apart from the .bsp, because I believe reflection probes that are outside the skybox will prevent a compile, and/or you will get some pretty glaring errors during the compile process. Therefore I think this problem has something to do with the external files your map references during ff build and during compiling reflections...not your .map file. That's my guess.

I've never seen the error before but if you guys are getting it at different times that's a clue. It is also significant that the map is actually compiling and the error is coming elsewhere....sorry I cant be of more help here.
