I think im one of those many new ones that have no experience in mapping or worked with radiant before but thx to modsonline i started with it.
I used to play mohaa and always liked to play bridge so decided to give it a try, well here's a previeuw.

I havent added lights yet cuz i still have some problems on how to since i cant really find a good tut on it and cant really find nice lamps to put in for example the hotel.
Also i'll use a diff skybox and worldspawnsettings, this was merely a test to see if i could get it right.
Some tips would be appreciated aswell.
So far my problems i currently working on
- Adding lights
- How to get the letter L to finish the word Hotel
- How to add fog on a specific part of the map (the street)

Supported gametype: S&D - TDM















as i said, im new to this so takes time to get used to radiant and how to do things.

@tridsp:since the modtools came out so bout 3 weeks now i think.

@Dragon: first i like to bring this one to a good end and a good S&D map with nice action like mohaa bridge was.
If its good enough i hope it gets in clanbase rotation.
Still alot of work to do though, was thinking of doing V2 next.

Lot of big bare walls on the outside. Decals, more models, destroyed walls, etc...

Do add some of your own style to it too, porting over exactly the way the MoH:AA map is would not be top quality like CoD4 maps, unless you're not aiming for quality and juts want a port? [crazy]

well im only half way with the map thats why i didnt get why its been moved to releases by the admins. i still have to add lights, decals,furniture,green etc etc
I did add some idea's of my own like making a accespoint from the sewers to inside church aswell and still need to do some own idea's.

What problems are you having with lights? Right click, then click 'light'. Select it and press N to change it's properties (such as radius, brightness, etc)

To get a letter that doesn't come in the models section I would just make it from brushes. If it doesn't match the "Hote" part, just make the whole thing in brushes.

I still haven't figured out fog. I think it has to do with using the 'fog' texture, right click the brush on the 2d plane, then changing it to a volume, or something.. Anyone know how to do this? I'd love to make fog too.
