My problem is, when i open GTKradiant 1.4.0. I make a map w/ no errors, leaks, nothing. Then i go and click save as, and then i get this message ->ERROR: couldn't open C:/Program Files/GtkRadiant-1 No brushes selected for write. I am using (vista) and i look at a gaming forum i visit freq. The post said to turn off aero -switch to windows classic. Any way the message GTK radiant gave me is what im wondering about for the most part. Thanks a bunch. Fiber

Hey I'm having this same problem, how did you end up fixing it? I really don't want to move on to 1.5 if possible. I'll shoot you a PM too, just in case you don't check every single old thread you've ever made :p

You can eitehr specify a directy that isn't in a protected place like the programfiles folder (C:/Program Files/GtkRadiant-1 = BAD) Also for running a compile from a *.bat file = right click > run as administrator, or the like... Or you could just stop vista from constantly getting in the way ALL THE TIME = Control Panel > User Accounts > turn user account control on/off
