Im almost finishing but when I do compile after afew changes
and I run my map trough the comple tool it doest load the map with the last changes I´ve made.

No one?

I hit ¨Run selected map¨

afther compile it....

and it doesnt load the updated map, just the old one without changes.

on the first compile check the black box for error, you could have a lose Light reflextion of a bad prefab around on your map. if you have this will stop all new updates on the map,. if that fails i can chck it out for you, send me the map to manickiller@hotmail.co.uk only if you want me to check it for you

The only thing I recently added was a pair of ¨prop_bunker_hatch¨ or something like that, Im going to remove them and lets see.

I'm having a similar problem, the d3dprt file is produced, but not the other one. I think it might be an updated prefab I stuck on. Any clues?

I´ve solved my problem.

As long as I´ve learned, It happen when you have too much stuff (WARNINGS) unsolved in your map.

the compiler ¨overloads¨ and can not write the the file.

I had a lot of ¨WARNING:node without volume...¨

anyway, expanded your skybox (In case that something is out of it).

set your grid to 1 (Ill tell why)
select EVERYTHING, created a new map file, copy everithing in to the new one, delete the old file d3d... whatever is called , save the new one.

what this do is move all the floating vertices to the grid (get rid of the ¨node without a volume¨warning).

that´s why setting the grid to 1, avoid brushes and patches no move away to far.

but if it works , play your level and look around, you will notice that afew things has moved and you will have to fix them in the editor.

this time you ´ll need to do it better.

This is quite common.. All you need to do is save your map by going to file - save as..

Make sure everytime you compile your map delete the old .d3dbsp located in the raw - maps folder (raw - maps - mp for multiplayer)
