Well, you aren't putting across a very good impression of the site there BRMaster. Modsonair participants have slagged him off many a time, I suppose freedom of speech is illegal where he comes from.

that impression is not representing modsonline, like i stated above, im more calm now, but that was mainly all my first-impression thoughts summed up. sorry if i caused any...issues. But that is MY opinion on this guy, who thinks he is superman by "saving" kids from these "evil" games. Ill gladly slag him off if you give me a chance, its not that i dont repsect the guy, ok, he has opinions, but i think that he is acting under false impressions and hasnt made the connection that games are like.....what comic books were back in the 50's. Its a trend, a very large and expanding trend and new "thing". If he wants to, he can "encourage" other parents to nto allow kids to buy games, and prevent his own son from buying them ( which im sure he does). But not go on public television acting like a "School Shooting Expert" and immediatyle state taht the cause was video games and games are evil, dont buy them. That is stretching the truth by a long way. Ok, so they kids who commited the murders were playing counterstrike, they also watched TV?, movies?. i would guess that 90% of american kids and european kids play video games, watch TV and movies. How many of them become mass murderers? Lets count it off, not alot. These kids were MENTALLY DISTURBED, they did not "train" off of these games, i can agree that they most certainly vented anger on these games, but the decision to kill doesnt come because you shoot someone with a pixelated ak47. No matter what he says, deep down in their heads is where it all happens. Any kid that has a sane head will know that this is a game, and doing any of this in real life is horrible and wrong. Teens play video games, its a fact, we liek them because we can do stuff that in real life is either impossible or illegal. That does not mean that we will start doing it in real life, normal people will know the difference. The kids you saw commit those horrible crimes were disturbed and depressed. You cant assume that becuase they were playing DOOM or CS that they used these games to "train" themselves to kill. I highly doubt that DOOM, a game where you cant even move your mouse up or down, caused these kids to suddenly become a novice gunman. If the kids clearly stated in a death will that they did this becuase of video games, then you got me there. There is no proof, the truth, in my opinion, is that these kids were mentally ill, you can compare them to hilter, he was mentally insane/racist as well, both cases result in horrible crimes. Wow i wrote all that :S Well, that is basically my opinon on the whole video games cause violence thing. Jack has no business by interfering with this industry, if he feels as a parent that games are bad, then act like "superman" and save your own kids from this new "evil", becuase atm im fine with gettin an occasional headshot in Halo 3, he may not be, but i sure am, cause i am a teen, and i like games, il state that now, i like them ,and i will continue to play FPS's.

Maybe we should all agree to burn all our games and just stick to Viva Piñata unless of course this is also concidered violent? don't know about you but if i started playing a game about a Piñata, i'de have to go smack people with a stick! Has anyone (by whom you all know) actually tried to have a go at wow? i know thats the only game i can think of (apart from gta) where someone got the urge to kill (the chinese fire mage boy ring a bell?) So that being said im off to play manhunt.. ops i mean.. uhm.. no idea!

I think Viva Piñata should be banned, I mean come on teaching your kids that hitting their mis-behaved pets with a shovel until they die will stop them from recieveing "bad sweets" is just plain outragous. And breeding Whirlms will get you know where in life, trust me! Techno2sl: Played Viva Pinata for 30 minutes, got suicidal tendences, destroyed the game.
