Hello Ok, my problem is.. whenever i try to load the level editor for cod4, i get this odd error message.. Since i don't know what the hell i am doing i am asking you guys for help. I installed it into the root directory for cod4, i have installed v1.1 patch correctly aswell. (at least i did something right lol) anyways, heres the picture The picture Please try to help. Thanks.

Make sure you have the location of your game entered in preferences in the Tools and double check that the game is installed in the correct directory. The location of the tools should be cod4/bin/Cod4CompileTools/ The only time I've seen this error is when I attempted to run the mod tools on my laptop. (That didn't have COD4 installed)

Yep, everything you said was in the right place, it still doesn't work. also i am not using a laptop and i have cod4 installed edited on Mar. 27, 2008 11:13 am by olly12345

What's the exact directory that you have the game installed to? Could you provide a screenshot? Some people have reported that copying the radiant file from /bin to the main cod4 folder helps, but some have reported that it only worked once or twice.

C:/Program files/Activision/Call of duty 4 - modern warfare2 Its 2 because i had to reinstall it Maybe a file in the other call of duty 4 file is mixing with the 2nd call of duty file? edited on Mar. 27, 2008 11:34 am by olly12345

Try the method of copying the radiant file to the COD4 directory and see if that helps you.

Should be called radiant.exe It's mentioned in the FAQ post. The person that posted it said it may take a while to launch when you do it that way, but it does work for some. I'm honestly not sure why it will not run for you. What O/S are you using?
