So Im looking for a website that allows you to download different types of sounds/music , mostly in wav. format of course. Rite now Im kinda looking for some sound or music for a radio I have on my map and would like the sound to be somthing like 2 opfor soldiers talking. But for music, I dono some sort of eastern type music lol. So any help on a good site for different types of sound/music would be great! Or maybe even a link to a program that would allow me to edit the sounds and convert to wav. format. Cheers, Arkadian

Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. It is available for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems. import: wav, aif, au, snd, mp3, ogg, lof export: wav, mp3, ogg http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ You can record every Webradio using free software like Winamp + Stream Ripper. http://www.di.fm/ http://www.sky.fm/ http://shoutcast.com/

Just found A really good sound effects for my map, and its working which is the main thing. But the song is a little too loud, or its radius is too big, when I spawned I could hear it already. heres my script: ahwak,,customsounds/ahwak.wav,0.70,0.90,,,,160,1700,voice,,,looping,,mp_convoyassault,,,,,,,, Now some1 told me which set of numbers changes the radiuse of the sound, but I cant for the life of me remember! lol. any help here?

load any stock soundalias csv using notepad and you will find this line: name,sequence,file,vol_min,vol_max,vol_mod,pitch_min,pitch_max,dist_min,dist_max, channel,type,probability,loop,masterslave,loadspec,subtitle,compression,secondaryaliasname, volumefalloffcurve,startdelay,speakermap,reverb,lfe percentage,center percentage, platform,envelop_min,envelop_max,envelop percentage volume stuff start with vol_ radius (distance) with dist_ 1 = name 2 = sequence 3 = file ... example: ahwak,,customsounds/ahwak.wav,0.70,0.90,,,,160,1700,voice,,,looping,,mp_convoyassault,,,,,,,, 1 = ahwek (name) 2 = (empty, sequence) 3 = customsounds/ahwak.wav (file) ... edited on Apr. 7, 2008 12:45 pm by Sevenz
