hello all

here are some screenshots of the map |ZERO|Bilko and I have been working on. This was originally released to COD2 and is now being ported over to COD4 with a more modern/worn-down look to it

Quite impressive so far. I'm looking forward to it.

Too bad there's no suit of armor model in CoD4. [cry]

Bloody and I spent considerable time on the cod2 version, glad you guys are liking it so far.

I wouldn't call our map a port, as we didn't use any tools to copy over x_model positions or anything from the original map, it was all actually done from scratch. We didn't even use the view_pos command in console ( I never knew about it until our map was about 95% complete.) So I guess I would be inclined to call it a "tribute map".

I hope that the level of detail we maintained in our tribute map is apparent to fans of the original map in COD1 and CODUO.

Looking forward to the chance to try it out with the modding community...

Don't worry i will add more cover, just getting the main decal/brush texturing done

Update:

Changed worldspawn settings, imo its so much better. Got some of the inside done

Well as you can tell alot more work is needed. I plan on adding more ivy along the outside walls, and more decals to the inside once i finished the main decals which are causing me much annoyance :-\

As always tips and suggestions are always appreciated [biggrin]
