MODSonline is currently home to thousands of mappers and modders for a range of different games. Every day, many of these members visit the site and use what is available. It's time for the users to tell us exactly what they think of the experience they have when visiting, good or bad..

Read on for more information...

What is it that keeps you coming back to the site? What is it that puts you off when you are here? What do you really want to see available? What feedback would you give?

We would love to hear what you have to say about the site and welcome any suggestions you have that could improve the site.

MODSonline RAWKS![rocking]

but seriously, I come here because of the great community, everyone is allways ready to help.

two things could be improved in my opinion:
1. the layout, when just ariving here, its very daunting to see a LOAD of stuff on the front page.
2. the loadtimes for the pages, the pages generally load pretty slowly.

I suppose the sites alright if you look really hard at it.. Why else would i spend all my free time here [thumbs_up]

I think it would be nice too see more variety of games, maybe a section to chat about other games, even music and movies.

A splash of color around would keep me happy, i can suggest 3 colors (avatar)

All in all though love it, im just gonna carry on ploding along the way i have. Nothing really puts me off, unless of course foyles feeling up to another prank?

it's intimidating at first, like Sporadic said , you have to find your way around.
the main page is a bit crowded sometimes.
It's all ok, but i remember back in the beginning i didn't like the site for the crowdedness, and after google kept referring me here for any COD question i had , i took some time to get used to it.

but well that was just my first experience when i was a 13 year old punk ...
nowadays i think it's ok and once used to it, you'll find things with ease

I believe:

1.) Great Community
2.) Loads of tutorials
3.) Information from around net at one spot (front page)
4.) Modsonair

Lol I probably would not even know some of the things coming out or happening in the gaming community if it wasn't for the newsgrabber putting things on the front page.

Lol and Kiljoy IMO your still a punk but a good punk! LOL j/k

I have been hanging around here and elsewhere ever since I took up mapping.

In general I like the site and the fact that it subscribes to a philosphy that I like and try to live by when mapping. Namely this means a community helping the community.

The only thing that I dont like and if any of you have read some of my posts is that some of the tutorials here are inaccurate or simply wrong. Mappers of all experience levels read these and either get totally lost or frustrated or are forced to waste many hours or days trying to get it to work. We have all seen threads describing this issue and the number of repeat threads asking for the same help with the same problems.

My only tip is develop a committee or group to test the tutorials offered up by the community to insure the validity of those same tutorials before you make them a certified part of what you offer here.

Basically what everyone else said.

Like LPRay says though, It'd be good if people could go through the tutorials and see what needs changing. Maybe a thread for it?
