Hi guys what iam am looking for is for someone to show or tell me how to go about adding custom mp3 and wav files to a map i have seen a couple of posts on this subject but they always seem to go off track by well meaning folks suggesting have you tried this have you tried that or the other So please if you do not have a compleat solotion of how to add the sounds please refain from replying to this post i dont mean to sound rude but it seems a lot of people have got a problem with adding these sounds i am no fool i have been mapping since COD1 but how to get these sounds into the map iludes me compleatly i have tried for many hours but to no avail i always seem to get errors such as missing sound alias,cant find sound fx when it palinly is there its driving me mad it would be really great if some one could make up a tut for this subject thanks in advance

As far as I can tell it works basically the same as for CoD1, 2 and UO. Make a .csv file, named as your map. In it set an alias and call that from your main .gsc file For instance mp_crossfire: .csv Code: ambient_crossfire,,ambient/amb_middle_east1v7_lr.mp3,0.17,,ambience,,,,,ambient,streamed,,looping,,all_mp,,,ambient_crossfire_sur,,,amb_front,nowetlevel fulldrylevel,0.3,,!PC .gsc Code: ambientPlay("ambient_crossfire"); Those files should then go in your .ff file.. voila, custom sound. I have NOT tried this myself, but I see no reason why it should not work.
