I read through everything I could find and didn't see an obvious solution to this problem. I followed the tutorial and some of the help threads for the minimap which btw works like a charm. To get the minimap working I have to run the map from my mods directory, however when I do it acts as if the game can't see my zone file. I have even moved my .ff and load.ff into the same mod directory with the same results. Any ideas?

Try deleting the ff's from zone/english?

That is a good idea. I wouldn't have thought leaving the original .ff files would screw it up, but will give that a try tonight.

I had same problem.. I have my costum .ff files in the zone/english and usermaps/mp_mapname directories.. and that seemed to work for me.. (you normally only need the modwarfare mod when you want to host the map for some other players etc..) I ain't certain, but that's what saved me from banging my head against the wall
