i made a mpa for singleplayer with this tutorial
"SP Tutorial Including Compiling"
followed every step, but when i compile i get the the screen
"team deathmatch"
"my map"
it loads, but when it's finished it jumps to backlot, but it's an singleplayer map, how come there's "team deathmatch"?
it seems that the game doesn't see this map as a sp map

help plz

can't find it, but i know when this problem repports, it means that you haven't placed an "tdm spawn"
but this is a singleplayer map, sow i don't have to place an "tdm spawn"

Do you have a info_player_start (ie single player spawn point added via radiant) and a .gsc for your map?

yes

this is my script

main()
{
maps_load::main();
}

and i used an actor as enemy like in the tutorial, but i used path nodes to let him run to the door, maybe that's my fould?

oké, 1 problem solved
i used cod compiler to run map, but thats for multiplayer maps
sow i started cod 4 singleplayer, and used this in the console

/set developer 1
/g_connectpaths 1
/spdevmap mp_sp_test_ai_spawn

but then the infinityward logo comes op and it hangs crashes and cod4 console comes up with the error
"esceeded limit of 1 'game_map_mp' asset
is this becaus i used to many underscores?

why name your sp map:
mp_sp_test_ai_spawn

if you put mp_ in front of the maps name, cod4 will think it's an multiplayer map, that makes sense right?

so remove the mp_

ah, the mp_ stands for multiplayer?

The updated Tutorial

When the update is approved the tutorial should show the info on how to save the .map file for singleplayer.
