Forgive me for asking as this may be somewhat of a noobie question but I have only just started lookin at the modtools. I tried following foylemans video tut on making the room and also watched the follow-up on that continued on from where he left off. I have a room, lights, global intermission, reflection probe, tdm axis spawn, tdm allies spawn and it compiles with no errors. I click run selected game, it loads up the map, the progress bar goes all the way along and then it loads up free-for-all on Backlot. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance...

You need all 3 types of TDM spawns, the allies and axis spawns and the normal TDM spawns, and you might have to add some DM spawns too

Ok, it still doesn't work with the 3 TDM spawns in it. Let me add some DM Spawns. Nope that doesn't work either.

any errors in your compile log? Or when creating the .ff file?

try this if you have a leak in your map it will act like it compiled it and run it so i would check for leaks Quote: file-pointfile another way to make shere that a leak is in you map if u see that it made a .lin when compiling or u can check here Quote: C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\map_source\ find the name of your map if u see a yourmapname.lin then yea have a leak

No leaks and no errors in the FF build. If I load it, it loads Backlot but if I call it manually twice it works

I explored cod4/mapsource folder and found mymapname.lin What does that mean really and what do I need to do about it?

you have a portal leak somewhere, open the .map file in radiant, then under the file tab, select point file, the screen should show a red arrow that starts at the leak and returns to the other side of the leak
