A number of times I have noticed people call votes, and almost instantaneously, the vote is passed, even before I have time to respond. Recently, there were three of us in a server, and this happened. Neither I, nor the other person (who hadn't called the vote) had time to respond, and the vote was passed. How is this being done?

It's most likely the team that voted against you discussed it first so they new it was coming, only takes one click when the option comes up, also fewer player in a server means the vote will pass quicker.

Yea as Rasta said the fewer people the easier a vote passes. If two people are playing, then it only takes one of them actually calling the vote for it to pass, other guy can say no but it will still go through. I think yours is more likely people just ignoring looking at the name of the person for kick and just saying yes to get the vote thing done faster.

Three people. One calls vote. Vote instantly passed. Other two don't have time to respond. This is NOT normal.

Were u all on a team in the server, or was someone in spectate because I believe spectators cant vote at all. So if ones in spectate and two are playing then the guy can call a vote and it would pass immediately.

If there are only 2 people playing and one calls a vote and goes to spectate the vote will automatically pass because there is 1 vote point and only one player in the game (other two are in spectate). I never tried, but I'm sure you could write a script to automate the process that would give the other person playing almost no chance of voting no before the other player joins spectate. Its a glitch because when a player votes and swithes to spectate the vote point still counts as a point, but it lowers the number of players and can throw the vote. It can work with more people too. As long as they work together and join spectate you can throw the vote however you like it. edited on Aug. 14, 2008 12:50 pm by s4ntiago
