Hello

That maps looks really awesome, Are you planning on having Dead mans land? That would be sweet.

Also sorry for this random question, but i see your using windows vista, have you had any problems with it while using Mod Tools? if so how did you fix the errors or problems.

One more question, Do you have Windows vista 32 bit or 64 bit?

Looks interesting and original with some nice details.

Couple of points though;

The walls of your trenches look very flat and the edges all seem to be on right angles. I understand these walls may be placeholders for now, but for a more realistic look I would use Terrain Patches to create uneven surfaces. The problem then is if you have to many vertices you can get some performance issues if your creating a huge map so a good balance is key.

Don't get to bogged down with detailing parts of your map before you know how it plays. From these images it looks like you only have a small portion mapped out. It should be pretty quick and easy to block out the overall layout of the map due to it's corridor/room likeness and it can save a lot of headaches if something doesn't work well later on.
You don't want to spend half a day detailing the barracks only to find that they are too small and people can't get through them.

Also, in the forth screen, is that doorway big enough for a player to pass through? It looks like they will have to jump and duck to get through it which could cause problems to the flow of the map.

Finally, try to allow players plenty of opportunity to access areas from different routes to prevent camping and consider your item placement carefully to minimise people hiding behind crates in a trench waiting for someone to run past unawares or claymore spam.

Anyway, I think I've 'preached' enough, good luck with the project. [thumbs_up]

actually i did use terrain patches for the walls, it's just the angle i have the screens at make it look like it's flat.

on the fourth screen the doorway is big enough to run through without having really to jump and crouch.
