I haven't done any Fx work on my map yet, however I've read the "exploding barrels", "fire/smoke", and "destructible cars" tutorials, and I can't seem to figure out how to create a destructible TV. Would I simply attach a line in my gsc? Where would I find the line? "exploding barrels" seems the closest one since I pulled my TV's out of the "interactable_objects", but I don't see a "targetname" when I pull up the entity "N" editor while the TV's highlighted. Nor do I when I place the barrel listed in the tut. What I am missing???

I searched through raw/maps/mp and looked at
_destructibles
_destructible
_destructible_types
_explosive_barrels

and could not find anything about a destructible tv.

Anybody know how to get Destructible TV's on a map?

Which prefab did you use exactly? Because all the ones in the interactable folder have a targetname of "interactive_tv".

The exploding TVs only work in SP, I think, because that's the only place i found scripting references to them (in the interactive_objects.gsc file)

Sorry for the long response delay, I just moved and haven't had internet until today.

The TV's are:
prefabs/interactable_objects/com_tv2.map

I haven't added any lines in my .gsc and I don't have a fx file as of yet.

I don't think there are any destructible TV's in the packaged MP levels, but the map pack has Broadcast which has them. I tried searching my COD4 folder for mp_broadcast.gsc and broadcast.gsc but couldn't find anything.

Any idea of how to get my TV's breaking?

I've looked for the exploding tv's too. I even looked in a memory dump out of desperation. They're all over mp_broadcast, but damned if I can't figure out how to get one in a custom map.

Make the script yourself.
Use the models com_tv2_testpattern and com_tv2_d. Place them in each other. Give them different targetnames. Make a trigger_damage with a targetname.
In your script you hide the broken tv. When the trigger is triggerd, you delete the testpattern tv and show the broken tv.
Add an effect for the explosion.

Make the tv your self, first make it destroyed give it key : script_exploder

and value: 10

Then make the non destroyed tv give it script_exploder and value 10 aswell, that way when you shoot it, it will exploder if u want create a script that add's your own sound fx to it

Place a misc_model with a broken TV model, this one is the one that stays all the time

And place the destructible one with these settings 0.5 units in front of the static one
