when making a terrain patch, how do u select each point individually (after hitting v) iv tried searching the forum but no luck yet, sorry if its been posted i just cant find it. i made cod 1 maps, and i remember i just clicked an individual point and it would allow me to move it freely, but for the life of me i cannot get it to work for some reason in cod 4 radiant. it will only let me select a column if i press shift, but wont let me choose only 1. can it be done with only 1 or is it not possible in this radiant? iv not made a cod 1 map in over a year so im a bit rusty, so there might be something simple im just missing, but its really annoying me because i want to do my terrain lol

I am still trying to get the tools for cod4 installed but i've use cod2 radiant. Try dragging your mouse over the vertice (the point you want to drag) and it should turn blue. then, drag and hold the vertice to drag. vertices are very hard to work with for me too some times i need to use the method i have just described and some times i can just hold and drag. it usually takes a few clicks. also, make sure your vertices aren't locked.

LMB, make a square over the dot you want to move then press/hold ALT and move the dot with your LMB
