i am searching high and low for any single player tutorials that shows basics of setting up an ac130 level ive found very little

dose anyone know of any tutorials??

You should be able to just put your info_player_start into a map, then make a call to the function maps\_ac130::init();
*The AC130 utility takes care of adding in the AC130, attaching the player, setting up the weapons, the HUD, etc...

Then it's just a matter of running the map and generating missingAssets.csv and adding them in, preCaching stuff that needs to be preCached, etc...

You should probably just #include ac130_code.gsc into your script and edit the scriptCalls() function to take any vehicles out that you aren't going to use in your map. It also preCaches just about everything that needs to be preCached. There are a lot of neat common tasks in there to use so you don't have to reinvent the wheel.

To move the plane around you can use either of these:
movePlaneToWaypoint( sWaypointTargetname, rotationWait ); // by Targetname
movePlaneToPoint( coordinate, rotationWait ); // by x,y,z coords
