That makes sense, I will try that tonight.

Now... as far as my rainbow looking entities, Will this take care of that as well? Or do I need to place more Reflection probes in the map?

Also... Not sure why this is happening but... When I try to load ANY model or prefab I get an error such as this...

Cannot find xmodel 'prefabs/misc_models/me_electricbox2.map'.
failed.

It is there.

I have verified as much... Is there an INI or a location setting that I am missing?

I never used prefabs but is it normal that it calls prefabs xmodels?

Well... Is there a better way to insert models into a level? Is it better to use custom models? I guess what I am asking here is... what am I doing wrong?

I always use models with Misc > Models - I don't use prefabs.

The xmodels don't have collision data though so you have to clip the object yourself.

Hello Jean...

The problem i run into is this.

If I go Misc, Model and go into the prefab folder and try to load a model, I just get a red box and the error I spoke of earlier.
Sorry to sound like a n00b but, I am really trying here.

I can load from the Xmodel dir, but I can clip right through them. Unless there is a simple way to make them solid.

As I said use Xmodels, you can walk trough them so you have to clip them yourselves by making brushes and giving it the clip texture or clip metal texture, CoD2 models had this already done by IW but CoD4 Xmodels not.

prefabs and models each have their own separate file path, meaning when you want to load a -

prefab you must follow the: map_source/prefabs/misc_models
model you must follow the: raw/xmodel

each is a separate entity and will only load its affiliated extensions therefore you must find the file type that correlates to the entity type, if you can't see the picture and it loads as a red box that means the game will not recognize the entity when placed in a level unless you further direct it where to access the files it needs to draw the information in-game.
