Is anyone interested in having your own blog with a MODSonline.com address?

We're kicking around the idea of giving subscribing members a blog with their account. Maybe we'll extend this to all subscribing accounts. Only PLUS members would get FTP space, but a blog could turn into your personal website for your project, clan or whatever.

Think about having your blog over at http://yourname.modsonline.com. MODSonline is known for mapping and modding help and you could have that associated with your name. You'd get an account with wordpress already installed and ready to go. You just need to select from the available themes (or suggest a new one that we may install) and you're off and running.

Would this entice those of you who don't currently subscribe to sign up for a Preferred account?

Do you really think this would work? Sounds like a good plan but are there not tons of places you can do this sort of thing for free? Don't mean to cast a black cloud over the idea, plus my view may be a little bias as i never seen the point of blogs.. Still worth a discussion though..

As you already know i already have a blog so i don't need one. However if i didn't, i might be tempted to get a modsonline.com one.......maybe

Isn't project classified as a small blog while updating a project? As a subscriber you have that basic functionality. I guess if it was expanded many may use it? I don't know if I would or not?
