Lo All
Heres how to create a cool glow effect on your fonts and other images.
Ok to start ya will need to create an image and give it a black background.
Once this is done select the colour white from the swatch board and type your font so it looks somthink like this
Now we gotta add the first glow, so right click in the font layer and select blending options
Now go to the Outer Glow options and change Spread to 7 % and Size to 13 px, then click OK
Ya image should now look like this
Ok so to make it look a bit better we are gonna add a 2nd glow, so right click on your font layer and press Dublicant
Now you have your 2nd layer, so right click in it and go to blending options, the same as you did with the first layer.
Now go to the Outer Glow Menu and change Spread to 4 % and Size to 54 px
Ok now in the Outer Glow Menu click where the small green square is (i
believe it will still be shown up as yellow in Your photoshop) , you
should now see a box like this.
Finally you need to change the colour coordinates which are shown inside the Red circle i drew round the box, ADD09E
Now simply click OK to get off the colour box and then OK to get off the Blending Options
