There was a huge backlash from the mod community towards Raven after SoF. When they didn't release the SoF1 updated source code for instance a lot of mods broke, they never released the SDK tools, they ignored questions put towards them about these things... [more]

You don't need to decompile the bsp to a map, you just have to send them through q3map2 with the -meta flag and -flat to get cel shaders working, that's what I have heard. I haven't tried it, but yep it will take a long time -- if you have a faster way go... [more]

The player isn't really using the door, they're using a trigger that activates the door. If the door is wait -1 then it still obeys the trigger, it just doesn't automatically close. If the trigger is a trigger_once then the door will stay open forever sin... [more]
