While I agree that what valve is doing is ridiculous. I was probably one of the most angry and disappointed about this news, Having spent 50+ hours on a custom campaign for left 4 dead.

However I think a boycott is a step in the wrong direction. All a boycott does is cause people to yell and scream at developers and pushes the chances of them actually listening to the consumers further away.

I Agree that out of all of the game companies valve is the most likely to listen. I am a firm believer in constructed questioning and reasonable debate rather than what is likely to happen from such action. Also how many of those 20,000 members will once the game is out will crack and purchase it anyway.

Maybe this group won't fall into any of that and maybe something good will come of it. I really do hope that is the case.
