The expansion pack for Valve's hit game, Half Life 2, is to become episodic, with a flow of game content.

The upcoming expansion pack for Half Life 2, Aftermath, was recently renamed by Valve to become 'Half Life 2: Episode One'. Valve revealed that the reason behind this is, as you my have guessed, to allow players to have a regular flow of new content for the game, never being able to completly finish the game. How Valve can keep up with this new demand they are putting on themselves is unsure, but I'm sure it will be very popular. These new episodes will regularly be distrubuted via Steam for easy access, but with Valve recently partnering with 'Ritual Entertainment' to produce SiN Episodes, this could be a new era of gaming.
