i feel like a noob asking this but uh, how do u map for bf2? i see all this talk on needing this gmax thing or 3dsmax or whatever. please, i feel really stupid and i would like to know how modeling programs come into play with the actual program for making bf2 maps. i heard the mapping program is in the game itself as well. i didnt see this in the forums on this site, didnt find too much help on search engines either.

what ever happened to download the map editor, throw in some brushes, textures, models, compile and go? from the sounds of it, this is one of those hafl-ass made editors...i also hear u cant make brushes, heard that from a new mapper at school, im really hoping he is just a idiot.

bf2 editor wont work on my comp...xp blows...way to different...is there a version for the OS thats actually good? (windows 2000 Pro)
