I'm totally miffed, and can use some help. I am not a newbie to linux or sof2 hosting, but have never done both. I've set the hunk, and zone memory up & down, and fps - yada, yada... Firewalled, or not - it doesn't get much further than this. I have 8,000,001 core dumps for any who might be so enlightened. Machine: AMD 900Mhz, 512MB, 20 Gig Distro: Mandrake 9.1, Full client base, most server base, LSB

HELP! that link quoted isn't working, which may fix our problems, and we are having a very hard time getting our linux SOF2 OSP server running... we even installed and set up a windows server, got it running perfectly, ported that info to linux... nothing!

THANK YOU. I hope that fixes the problem - I've about pulled all my hair out on this, its been a week of messin' with this with linux guys who are very experienced sysadmins. I'll let you know. Again, we'd sure love to look at a working linux OSP SOF2 server's config files. NiteFitr

Do you have to install the game to /usr/local/games/sof2, or can you install it anywhere like your home directory?

when my players trying to connet to server its crashing? if i set sv_pure 0 than its fixed but ctf is playing in pureserver so its always crashing can somebody help me pls btw sorry for my bad english
