I am having a real problem on soldier of fortune 2. Although I can save game, I can no longer load from a saved game. It keeps crashing on me. I do not know whether it is because I have got too many saved games or something else but it is very frustrating. If I was able to delete games to have more memory, I would, but I cannot even do that. Can someone please tell me what I have to do.

Another thing: could someone give me a plain simple step by step instruction of how I unlock the cheat codes. I have had a look on the internet and I have seen what they are but I do not understand at all how to unlock them. Help me obi wan you are my only hope..

hey I get almost the same thing. I can load games at start up, but about 90% of the time when I load a game after I died (or just click the mouse to do it automatically) the game will crash and blue screen.

I tried entering what you told me and it kept saying the target name or area was not valid. Any suggestions?

Yes, It's important that there is a space between the last "0" of the target line and the "+" of the new line you are adding.
(computers are picky about these things) LOL

First of all do I have to put speech marks (") in before the C:/. Secondly do I put C:/ in or D:/ in as D:/ is the drive where my disk is.

Well actually you don't need to change anything previously there. Just add:

+set setrandom sv_cheats 1

to the end of the command string making sure there is a space between the last number already there and the added command which starts with a +

If you've altered things and don't know how they were originally, just delete the shortcut entirely and copy and paste a new one from your Start> Programs> Raven Software> Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix> Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix - Single Player Icon

But in answer to your question, quotation marks (") do belong at the beginning of the string and after SOF2.exe.  If SOF-2 is installed on another partition other than C: then the string would begin with D:/

why did they put up a sticky thread for telling about cheats and hints and walkthrough.. u dont need any of these in the whole game.. can complete without anyones help even.. so i would recommend that they remove this thread.. it just spoils the fun of the game.. lastly as a new customer is bound to come first to this forum for a little help.. it will only spoil his/her whole fun if he finds the walkthrough for the game right in front of him.. so administrators.. plz remove this thread.. cheats is definitely what u dont want for anyone to enjoy this game.. thanx.. by the way auto pilot.. do u know every possible thing about sof2.. whereever there is help needed u seem to have ALL the answers.. tell me ur secret man..

p.s. if any of the trolls want a walkthrough why dont they search the web for it.. i am sure they will find plenty..

+set setrandom sv_cheats 1 i enter this on my desktop short cut exaclty as it shows up this page i go into the game and open the console and type in the code then all it tells me is


"Cheats not available on this server" any ideas to y i get this my game shortcut is set as follows.
