hey everyone,

For those that are new to the forums, I'd like to bring up something that some of our posters started doing a while back when Rick first opened the forums: labeling your posts.

If you have a post that's specifically for coders, mappers, modelers, or some other very specific category (those are the only three I can think of, really), put a [CODERS] or similar tag at the front of the topic title.

The reason for this is that we'll be able to tell if we should make some additional forum categories or not -- if we have a LOT of [CODERS] tags, we can open up a special subforum for the coders.

Thanks!
- HC

I think for a while we should all stay in one forum before we split it, the problem is that if we split it, we will end up with one or two active posters in 5 forums, instead of 10 active posters in one forum.

but as for the topic idea, I think thats fine, can you make this topic sticky? If you can, you should to keep it up top.

I'll also make one more post that I think should be sticky.

Definitely -- I wouldn't want to split the forums yet, hence why I think labeling those technical posts that are specific for certain modding aspects will give us a good indication on whether or not we should do that down the line.

I was looking to see if I can make this sticky, I'll do that...

Hey, also, I would like it if people set up their signature to mention the mods and engines they work on, as that would be helpful :)

Also, could you sticky my "Purpose of this forum" thread?

Ok, so lets try this:
[CODERS] Programming Related
[MAPPERS] Mapping Related
[MODELS] Modelling Related
[ART]? Art/Texture related?
[HELP] Help Wanted.

Anything to add?
