First and foremost, ive scanned the other various boards on the web about this, and Im about to scream in sheer rage.

1.  Comp specs:
AMD athlon 64 3500+ processor
Asus A8V deluxe MB
2 gig ram
over 200 G in HDD space
X64 windows XP Pro

2.  Install comes up with the 0003pak4 file not being there on Disc 2.  Mind you disc one installs almost fine, (Aparantly if I pay attention to the first glitch, It shuts down the install from word go.

I have cleaned out the temp files, I have my system running DMA already, and ive installed the proper Installshield that SHOULD let me install Q4,
And guess what.  I get the same #### error.
Then I get a locked up machine, and I want to scream and break things.  
Most specifically someones scrawny neck who programmed this utter bullshit.

A solution that makes an Iota of sense would be great.
Ive already spent 3 hours trying to get this #### thing to work, to no avail.
To say I am frustrated, is an understatement.

sounds as if the cd is corrupted.
id try copying the whole content of the cd(s) to the hd and trying to install it from a folder.
im not sure wether the q4 engine will alow that thoug (because of copyprotection) but its worth a try
at least try copying the 0003pak4 from the cd, because if the windows filesystem cant handle copying it you know the file/cd is bust.

Since I cant use Alcohol 120, thats a major problem.
So Im thinking my only choice is taking the #### thing back and getting a new copy?

Windows says it sends the system into a redundant cyclic check,  (The transfer time on Pak003.PK4 was going to be 125 minutes.  (On my machine, thats #### slow.)

So Im going to guess, this #### thing goes back to Meijer.... Great.  Another thing to do tomorrow.

I just hope that the odds are in my favor, and I can snag a copy that doesnt have problems.
From the sounds of things, there were ALOT of copies that got out that had this problem.

I think someone should smack the crap out of the distro company.
