Howdy,

I don't see any discussion on this forum about the Xbox 360 version of Quake 4 ... so I'll start a thread...

Hey Ravensoft, most developers have made extra content available for their Xbox 360 games... Even though Call of Duty 2 is a launch title, it's still the top Xbox 360 Live game ... thanks mostly to the extra maps etc...

why haven't you folks made any new maps, skins, weapons, etc for Q4 Xbox 360?

We're feeling abandoned...

I love Q4 but don't have a good enough computer to run it. It'd be awesome if you guys could update the game, or release some new maps for us 360 Quakers.

PC gamers allready have new maps and a patch .. so why no 360 support
im posting here since release of Q4 for 360 and it seems that the forum is dead

my post was not directed towards a patch, sure you shuld have a patch just like pcgamers, but if a game for the xbox is shipped with more weapons and maps than the PC version i would be pissed about it. because its quite frankly unfair.

I think thats precisely the point.

The PC version has recieved 1 new weapon, 2 new skins, and a whole bunch of maps. Not to mention balance changes to the weapons + accelleration.

Even ignoring the bug-fixes the xbox 360 version is missing out relative to the PC version, and the same "its unfair" argument goes both ways.

However I dont see this changing, given various XBox specific #defines have been removed from the gamecode in the various point releases. I'd say there is no plan to release new xbox content.

consoles will allways loose out, because it is not possible to download and install the millions of fanmade maps that some games get.

I think they were referring to downloadable content. One of the things about the xbox is that you can download additional content via xbox-live, and publishers have been putting out updates this way for xbox 360 titles. Activision / Raven / Id have not done this for q4.

Re custom content, yea, agreed. Not having q4max for the xbox means q4 on the xbox is always gunna suck compared to the PC ;-)

BTW, totally offtopic, but wth - I notice you're in "Group: Mod Maker" compared to the "Members" group most others are. Are there extra hidden forums for mod-devs, and if so, how do I get into that group?
