I don't see this. Is it with older code or perhaps in special situations? I would like to see if you have an example link.
Code:

I get that sometimes, especially if I edit a post. It then seems to put the line break code in for all to see.

Another problem I get from time to time is letter dropout when typing. Now, I type pretty fast, and at first I thought it was me. But, then I remembered it never did it before the site change.

Also, sporadically, the scroll bar of my browser (Firefox 3.5.3) freezes when I read the very last post in a thread. I have to refresh to enable it again. It could well be Firefox doing it, as it never did it before the most recent upgrade to Firefox a couple of days ago.

it happened to me once in the preview for a new post. i can't find a regularity...

what annoys me all the time is the increasing number of "edited" notes:

Please, anyone that can recreate this error, let me know how you did it. I can't seem to make it happen.

As for those "edited" notes, I set it up so that you can delete them. They are automatically posted at the bottom... but select>delete and they are gone. Previous versions of the forum inserted them without you being able to delete them.

The cause of this problem WAS the automatic checking of your private messages which I fixed last week. It should no longer happen when you are writing a post. Automatic checking is supposed to be turned off when writing in the forums and private messages (not sure about anywhere else without rechecking). It's turned off for me right now as I write this.

As a test, I just now pressed the preview button and started typing again. The automatic checking is not on so I do see this problem while previewing. If you are referring to another part of the site where this might happen, let me know.

If it is still occurring (missing some letters), then I am going to start blaming your browser since I can't think of any other reason for it to occur. I too am using the latest version of firefox. Perhaps a FireFox addon?

Didn't see anything for this foyle, the link for "Number of posts since last visit" doesn't seem to be getting any smaller.... or I could be doing something that I should be doing....

Cheers

Yeah I noticed that earlier. It resets if you click log out and then log back in.

once you clicked the forum-last link, the number of new posts should reset to 0 after 60 minutes for instance - i think that would be a good solution
