I have put some time into the game and come up with good and bad points, first though to stryder, if you start without a parachute just space bar, same for if your falling

The bad:

1. The beta does seem to strain your system and a lot of forum boards all report this.
   
   
2. Although so far my ever game i have had ~40ms ping, a lot report lagg
   
   
3. Some balance issues, such as spawns and i also feel the knife has some sort of auto aim with its 1 hit kills
   
   
4. No way to control the bloom (yet) and mixed with that horrible scope blur
   

The good:

1. Nice graphics, explosions and destruction 2.0 is a great improvement
   
   
2. Bullets drop and range, similar to OFP, so sniper can take a little skill
   
   
3. Ranking up does actually mean something, you get much better improvements to weapons and vehicles.
   

There is probably more but that is all i can think of right now. Personally i really enjoy the game but am at a point where the map is getting a bit repetitive, think i will hang on the preorder though as they have the base for a great game, if they spend a little time fixing a few performance/optimisation options and game balance they will be on too a winner..

Well what can I say? I've played 19 hours so far. Love the weapons, love the gameplay, but hate the air vehicles. After switching from 2142 playing non-stop I use to be quite a good pilot but in BC2 I can't seem to fly around for longer than 30 seconds without crashing.

Plus it's a lot more fun when you're playing with somebody.
