Im looking at a new build now and have thought about a blu ray for it. I was thinking LG simply because I always have bought those.

Why the rec for the HP? I havent ordered any of the parts yet so I would really like to hear some stuff so as to get the best bang for the buck. [thumbs_up]

HP PC's, crap. They use the cheapest of parts, but what I have found is there additional accessories are of top notch quality. I have never had bad luck with printers, CD drives, etc, from HP.

If it makes you feel more comfortable go with the LG, they too are a great company; we have a LCD from then and it works flawlessly.

Interesting, yes thier box store pc's are indeed crap. But the rest of what you say does hit true.

I have an HP w2558hc monitor and I love it.

Thanks my friend, I will look at the HP BD2401
